The new central branch of the San Diego Public Library opens for a sneak peek tomorrow, September 28th. There will be all day festivities with authors, speakers, and more! We are launching a new series for Teens called T2K: Things 2 Know! In short, 2-5 minute segments, we will cover topics from how to address an envelope, how to shut off water to your overflowing toilet, and more! As part of our Teen Summer reading Program, Reading by Design, the Coronado Public Library is now accepting submissions for its Summer Visual Art Show. Entrants must be entering 6 th -12 th grade in Fall 2017 or be a Class of 2017 high school graduate. All visual art mediums including, but not limited to, photography, paintings, woodworking and ceramics may be entered. If you would like to submit an entry, please send an email to j.luna@coronado.lib.ca.us by June 9 th . Your submission email must include the your name, email, grade in Fall 2017, medium, and a digital image of the art. The show will run from June 19 th -August 18 th .
