Teen Iron Chef Competition Wednesday!
Love to cook? Come join us Wednesday at 2:30 and join our Iron Chef Competition! No advance sign up is necessary. You'll work in teams to showcase the day's secret ingredient. Our judges will decide the winner and it's sure to be a good time for all! This event is open to anyone in the 6th to 12th Grade!

Welcome Back to School!
Teen events begin at the library next Wednesday, August 26th with Games & Grub at 2:30pm in the Winn Room! This ever popular event has tons of board games, video games, darts, ping pong and more available to play! There are always plenty of drinks and snacks so make sure to come on by!

End of Summer Reading
Today marks the end of our Teen Summer Reading Program! Thank you to all our participants and congratulations to all winners!! At 3pm today (Wednesday, July 29th), we will have our Summer Reading Finale Party and Grand Prize Drawing! You don't have to be present to win, but we will have awesome door prizes, root beer floats, and tons of games going on. It will be a great event!

30 Second Book Talk Contest
Do you love to read? Love to recommend books to a friend? Love to selfie? Send us a book talk! Send in a 30 second (or less) video book talk to the library promoting a book you loved! Book talks can be as simple as using the video function on your phone, saving it and sending it to us to use to promote books on our blog! Every book talk you enter gives you an entry into our book talk contest. The contest runs from June 15-July 28th. Winners will be announced on July 29th Prizes include gift certificates to iTunes or Google Play Stores! Rules for Book Talks: 1. Book talks must be 15-30 seconds long. 2. Upload your video to YouTube and send us the link, or you can send us the video directly to: nadoteenlibrary@gmail.com. Videos must be a .mov file if emailed. 3. By participating in this contest you are allowing the Coronado Public Library to use your video for the purposes of education, communication and promotion of the library. Book Talk Tips:
Divergent Day!
Love the Movie Divergent? So do we! You'll get sorted into Factions, play Divergent Jeopardy, and then it will be faction against faction in a game of Capture the Flag! Join us for a fun filled after noon on Wednesday, March 25th at 2:30 in the Ruby Room!
